Earthly Angels Donate $3,000 to Children’s Association

The Earthly Angels Autism Fund of The Luzerne Foundation recently awarded a grant to Wyoming Valley Children’s Association (WVCA).  The grant monies will help the Children’s Association to offset the cost of operating the agency’s Early Identification Clinic.

Wyoming Valley Children’s Association’s Early Identification Clinic, which has been in existence since 1974, offers families the opportunity to have their child evaluated by a developmental pediatrician with the intent of diagnosing developmental disabilities.  WVCA is a local nonprofit agency which provides therapy and preschool education to local children who have developmental delays.

The Earthly Angels Autism Fund of the Luzerne Foundation was established by Ron and Brenda D’Eliseo in 2001 to educate the public regarding autism and to provide funding to qualified nonprofit organizations for autistic services, support programs and education; and to bring hope to those families who deal with the hardships of the disorder.
